Yellow car with large-format commercial graphics applied by XWrap

Vehicle graphics in Valencia

A lettered van works as advertising every day, parked or on the road. We do cut-vinyl and printed-vinyl graphics for sole traders, local businesses and fleets, with the same care over edges and strip-downs as on a colour-change wrap.

What we letter

Vans

The most profitable format: broad sides, rear doors that are read at every red light, and flat surfaces that take large runs of printed vinyl with no joins in sight.

Company cars

Company cars and vehicles used to meet clients, where the graphics need to stay discreet: doors, tailgate and rear window with the logo, phone number and web address, without turning the car into a billboard.

Fleets

Several vehicles with the same design and the lettering in the same place on all of them. We prepare the artwork once, adapt it to each model and work through the fleet in batches, so it is never all off the road at once.

Cut vinyl

Letters, logos and contact details cut from coloured vinyl and applied straight onto the panel. It is the cleanest and cheapest option when the design is all type.

Printed vinyl

Laminated digital print for designs with photographs, gradients or full backgrounds. The laminate is what protects the ink from the sun, and in Valencia that makes the difference.

Removing and replacing graphics

We strip old graphics and adhesive residue before the new set goes on, or leave the vehicle clean so you can hand it back at the end of a lease or sell it.

From the file to the finished vehicle

How we work

1. Vehicle details

We need the make, model, year and the exact body type: the same van offers a different usable area depending on the wheelbase and on whether the roof is high or low.

2. Design and adaptation

We work on a template of the model to see where trims, handles and shut lines fall. A logo split by a trim strip reads badly from the street, and you only spot that on the template.

3. Artwork approval

We send you the mock-up with dimensions and colours before anything is printed. Nothing is cut or printed until you approve it in writing.

4. Printing or cutting

Cut vinyl for type-based designs, laminated print for everything else. The laminate is chosen according to whether the vehicle sleeps on the street or under cover.

5. Preparation and application

Washing and degreasing of the areas to be lettered, removal of whatever parts will come off, and application with controlled tension over ribs and rivets.

6. Inspection and handover

A pass over the edges, sealing where it is needed, and an explanation of how to wash the vehicle so the graphics last.

What we need from you

The better the file you start from, the better the lettering reads at ten metres. This is what we normally ask for.

Design files

  • The logo in vector format (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) wherever possible
  • If all you have is an image, enough resolution for the real print size
  • Fonts supplied, or converted to outlines
  • Brand colours given in Pantone or CMYK
  • Final text: phone, web address, social handles and legal details

Vehicle details

  • Make, model, year and body type
  • Wheelbase and roof height on vans
  • The vehicle's current colour
  • Whether there are old graphics that have to come off
  • Photos of all four sides, with the vehicle clean if possible

If you have no design

We can lay the lettering out from your logo and whatever details you want to show. The usual approach is to prioritise three things: what you do, what you are called and how to reach you. Everything else competes with those and costs you legibility.

Before lettering a leased vehicle

Check the terms of your contract: most allow vinyl because it is reversible and protects the panel, but it is worth confirming. When the vehicle goes back we remove the graphics and leave the surface clean.

I contacted Xwrap to apply a dark vinyl wrap to protect my rims and give them a more aggressive look. They gave me excellent advice and did a top-notch job. I highly recommend them; they are very professional.

En Xwrap me abrieron un hueco para realizar un trabajo de vinilado en mi coche (cambio de color del parachoques). Quedó estupendo, buen trato, varias maneras de pagar y eso que me retrasé en la recogida. ¡Los recomiendo!

Very satisfied with the service. Full wrap in Avery Dennison satin black vinyl on my BMW X5, impeccable result. Deadline met, meticulous work, attentive team. I came all the way from France specifically for this and it was definitely worth the trip. I recommend them without hesitation. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A very thorough and high-quality job on the entire car: PPF, polishing, ceramic coating, wheels... and especially the vinyl wrap during the Chrome Delete service. Very happy with the result and the service.

by area and by complexity

What it costs to letter a vehicle

Graphics are quoted by the metres of vinyl applied and by how difficult the surface is. A flat door and a side panel full of ribs and rivets do not cost the same, even if they measure the same.

What the quote depends on

  • Total area to be covered
  • Cut vinyl or digital print
  • Complexity of the bodywork: ribs, rivets, trims
  • Number of parts to be removed
  • Type of laminate, according to sun exposure
  • Number of vehicles carrying the same design
  • Whether old graphics have to be stripped first

Ask for a personalised assessment by sending us photos of the vehicle and your logo: with that we prepare a fixed quote and a mock-up of the result.

Graphics with a warranty

We warrant the application and the behaviour of the material according to the vinyl and the laminate chosen.
If the vehicle works outdoors all the time we tell you beforehand and recommend the right laminate, instead of trimming the quote and letting the lettering fade in a single summer.

Frequently asked questions

Do the graphics damage the van's paint?

No. The vinyl goes on top of the clearcoat and shields it from the sun and from light scuffs. When it comes off, the lettered area is usually in better condition than the rest of the bodywork.

Can a leased vehicle be lettered?

Usually yes, because it is reversible, but confirm it with the finance company. When the vehicle goes back we remove the vinyl and the adhesive residue.

How long does it take to letter a van?

It depends on the scope. A logo and contact details are done in a day; full printed coverage needs more time in the bay, on top of the printing lead time and the design work beforehand.

How long do the graphics last?

It depends on the vinyl, the laminate and the exposure. A vehicle that sleeps on the street under the Valencia sun ages faster than one in a garage, which is why the laminate is chosen for the real use.

Can I take a lettered vehicle through an automatic car wash?

Better without brushes. Rollers lift the edges of the vinyl over time, especially on ribs and trims. Hand washing, or a touchless high-pressure wash.

Do you have a designer, or do I have to bring the artwork?

We can lay the lettering out from your logo and the details you want to show. If you already have a finished design, we fit it to the template for your model.

Is there a fleet discount?

The artwork is prepared once and reused on the other vehicles, so from the second one on, the cost per vehicle drops. Tell us how many there are and we will quote for the whole set.

Shall we letter your vehicle?

Send us the model, a few photos and your logo. We come back with a fixed quote and a mock-up of how it will look, before anything is printed.

Van graphics in Valencia: advertising you have already paid for

A commercial vehicle crosses the city every day and then sits parked outside a customer's door for hours. Lettering it turns that journey into advertising with no recurring cost: you pay once, and you already own the space. For a sole trader or a local business it is usually the visibility spend with the best return.

The critical part is not the vinyl, it is the design. At ten metres, and moving, only three things read: what you do, what you are called and how to reach you. Lettering crammed with services, long addresses and social handles ends up saying nothing at all. We work on the template for your exact model, so each element goes where it can be read rather than where it looks good on screen.

The technique is the same as on a colour-change wrap: surface preparation, removal of anything that comes off without forcing it, and controlled tension over ribs and rivets. A van has far more edges than a car, and that is where a job that lasts parts company with one that starts lifting in its second winter.

We work on single vehicles and on fleets. If there are several cars, we prepare the artwork once and adapt it to each model, and we stagger the bookings so your work never stops.
