Where a car has one flat door, a bike has six parts with ribs, vents, screws and sharp edges. Each one is cut, heated and finished separately, so the work is measured in parts, not in metres of vinyl.

A bike is worked piece by piece, not panel by panel. These are the parts that usually go into a wrap, and the areas where clear film makes sense.

Colour change
Wrapping a whole bike changes the colour without touching the original paint, and it is reversible. On a bike the change shows more than on a car, because there are few painted parts and they make up almost everything you see.
We work with 3M, Hexis, Oracal and TeckWrap vinyl in gloss, matte, satin and textured finishes. The limit on the result is not the material, it is the disassembly: the more parts that come off the bike, the fewer edges stay in sight.
Coating on top
Ceramic coating can go over vinyl or PPF once installed. It does not protect against impacts, but it means insects and dust come off without scrubbing — and on a bike that matters, because the front gets dirty on every ride.
It can be included in the same job or left for later. We tell you what it adds in your case before putting it in the quote.

Why a bike is not a small car
The tank curves in two directions
It is pure double curvature: the surface runs away horizontally and vertically at once. The material has to be stretched in a controlled way, with heat, so no wrinkles or trapped tension are left. It is the part that takes the longest on the whole bike.
Almost everything comes off
Fairings, covers, mudguards and tail unit come off the bike and are worked loose on the bench. It is slower than doing it in place, but it is the only way to tuck the material inside the part.
Edges go on the inside
An edge cut flush lifts within a few months under pressure water and trouser rub. That is why the vinyl wraps around the edge and is finished on the hidden face, where nobody sees it but where it is decided whether the job lasts.
The bike stays at the workshop
This is not a wait-at-the-door job. Between disassembly, cleaning, application, post-heating and reassembly, several days go by. We give you a firm drop-off and collection date when we close the quote.
The finish depends on the disassembly
Some parts will not come off without touching wiring or dropping the tank. On those the edge is finished in place and stays visible at some point. We tell you before starting, with the real result you can expect.

How we work on a bike
1. We look at the bike
With the bike in front of us, or with photos of both sides, we decide which parts come off, which do not and how far the result goes. The quote and the workshop days come from that, not the other way round.
2. Disassembly
We remove fairings, covers, mudguards and tail unit, provided they can be released without forcing mounts or touching the wiring. Whatever stays on is masked and worked in place.
3. Cleaning and degreasing
Every part is washed and degreased. A bike carries chain grease, plastic dressing residue and silicone from maintenance products: adhesive does not anchor on any of that.
4. Application
Vinyl or film piece by piece, with controlled heat to work the curves and without stretching further than the material allows. Over-stretching thins the vinyl and washes out a matte finish.
5. Edges and post-heating
Edges are finished on the inner face and the material is post-heated in the stretched areas. Without that step the vinyl tends to pull back towards its flat shape and the edges lift over time.
6. Reassembly, inspection and handover
We put the bike back together, inspect it part by part under light and explain how to wash it and how long to wait before the first pressure wash.

Wrapping and PPF with a warranty
Vinyl and PPF last three to five years depending on the material, the use and where the bike sleeps: outdoors under the Valencia sun it wears faster than in a garage.
On PPF installation we offer up to 3 years of warranty, with the exact term written in the quote. It covers lifting, yellowing and cracking with no external cause. The scuffs and impacts the film takes are exactly what it is there for, and are not a defect.
Frequently asked questions
How long does vinyl or PPF last on a bike?
Three to five years, the same as on a car, with one nuance: a bike lives outdoors more, and the rub zones age before the rest. The tank and the covers where boots rest usually need attention before the fairings do.
Can I wrap just the tank?
Yes, and it is one of the most requested jobs: it is the most visible part and the one that suffers most. Bear in mind it is also the hardest because of its double curvature, so the price per part is not proportional to its size.
Does the bike have to be stripped, and how long does it stay?
Almost every part comes off and is worked loose, because that is the only way to tuck the material inside the edge. Between disassembly, application, post-heating and reassembly the bike spends several days at the workshop. We give a firm date when we close the quote, and we work by appointment.
Is the PPF noticeable once fitted?
It is clear and on paint it is barely visible. On the tank, a part you touch daily, the film edge can be felt with your hand if it could not be hidden inside. When the part is taken off, the edge goes inwards and disappears.
Does vinyl cope with the heat from the bike?
On the exterior parts, yes: tank, fairings, tail unit and mudguards do not reach temperatures that affect the material. We do not wrap exhausts, headers or areas with direct engine heat, and if a part sits too close we tell you beforehand.
Does removing it damage the paint?
If the paint is original and sound, no: vinyl is removed with heat and the adhesive residue is cleaned off. On resprayed parts, paint already in poor condition, or old stickers badly removed, the risk is real — we check that and warn you before applying anything.
Does a vinyl colour change have to be declared?
Vinyl is reversible and does not modify the paint, but a full colour change can affect what appears in the vehicle documentation. Check with your gestoría or with the DGT before deciding the scope; we prepare the work the same way either way.

Motorcycle wrapping in Valencia: where to start
On a bike almost everything happens on the tank. That is where your knees rest, where the suit zip rubs, where the magnetic bag goes and where the helmet ends up when there is nowhere else. It is the first part to lose its shine and the one that most defines how the whole bike looks. That is why most jobs start there, either with vinyl to change the appearance or with clear film to keep the original paint.
It is worth separating the two goals, because they are not the same job. Vinyl changes the colour and the finish, and protects only as a side effect. PPF changes nothing visually: it is there so the paint or the vinyl underneath does not get marked. The most common combination on a bike is vinyl on the large parts and PPF on the rub zones, the headlight and the nose, which is where the gravel arrives.
